Munnar Sightseeing
Day Four- Breakfast at the resort
- Full day sightseeing in Munnar — tea plantations, viewpoints, the dam, tea museum & more
- Evening drive to Kochi

- Transfer to Cochin International Airport

Alternative Plan
If you feel you may be affected by jet lag or would simply prefer a more relaxed itinerary, we would be happy to adjust the plans as follows:
- 7 – 8 August: Taj Cochin International Airport Hotel
- 8 – 10 August: Kumarakom Lake Resort (2 nights)
- 10 – 11 August: Taj Cochin International Airport Hotel
This option would replace the visit to Munnar, reducing the amount of travelling while giving you more time to relax before and after the wedding.

Important Notes
- A copy of your itinerary and booking confirmations will be shared with your chauffeur to ensure a smooth and well-coordinated journey throughout your stay.

Useful Information
Arrival & Departure
- I will be there to welcome you at Cochin International Airport on your arrival. If, due to any last-minute wedding arrangements, I am unable to make it, I will let you know well in advance.
- On the day of your departure, both Christy and I will be there to see you off.
Currency
- Indian Rupee (₹ / INR). Credit and debit cards are widely accepted at hotels and most restaurants. We recommend carrying some cash for local markets and small vendors.
Weather in August
- August falls during Kerala's monsoon season. Expect warm temperatures between 24–31°C with occasional rain. Light, breathable clothing, comfortable footwear, a compact umbrella and a light rain jacket are recommended.

We have included Munnar in the itinerary because it is one of Kerala's most iconic destinations and a favourite among visitors from around the world. Although it involves a journey of approximately 3.5 hours from Athirampuzha, we felt it would be a wonderful opportunity for you to experience another side of Kerala beyond the wedding celebrations. However, your comfort is our priority. If you would prefer a more relaxed schedule or would like to spend your time differently, we would be delighted to tailor the itinerary to better suit your preferences.
